   • Note: The actual URLs themselves are NOT stored

This data:

• Can be cleared by resetting the extension or removing it

Permissions Explained

The extension requires certain browser permissions to function:

• contextMenus: To add “Copy Clean Link” option to right-click menus
• clipboardWrite: To copy cleaned URLs to your clipboard
• scripting: To enable clipboard functionality in web pages
• tabs: To access the current tab’s URL for cleaning
• storage: To save your preferences locally on your device
• **host_permissions ()**: To allow URL cleaning on any website you visit

Important: These permissions are used solely for the extension’s core functionality and not for data collection.

What the Extension Does

1. URL Processing: When you use the extension, it:
   • Reads the URL you want to clean
   • Removes tracking parameters based on your settings
   • Provides you with the cleaned URL
