Local Storage

The extension stores only your selected football team preference locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage API. This data:

• Remains on your device only
• Is never transmitted to any server owned or operated by us
• Can be cleared at any time by changing your team selection or removing the extension

Third-Party Services

The extension fetches publicly available match data (scores, fixtures, team names, and logos) from TheSportsDB API (https://www.thesportsdb.com). When fetching this data:

• No personal information is sent to TheSportsDB
• Only team IDs are used to request match information
• Please refer to TheSportsDB’s privacy policy for information about their data handling practices

Permissions Explained

The extension requests the following permissions:

• Storage: Used only to remember your selected football team locally in your browser
• TheSportsDB Access: Used only to fetch public match information (scores, fixtures, team data)

Data Retention

Your team selection is stored locally in your browser until you:

• Change your team selection within the extension
• Clear your browser’s extension data
• Uninstall the extension
